Yes, you hit it on the nail.   The pressure switch hose has been blocked or clogged and sounds like all you need to do is replace that hose.  I have it on the link below.

Sorry about the later than you wish answer but if the bearing is going out then it will be an ambitious do-it-yourself project if that is what you are considering.

To repair the bearing will require removing the transmission, clutch and basket drive. The tub support and bearings 280184 will run about $86 dollars.

A service call by a technician will be about $129 dollars so you can see most repairs with labor will start in the $200 dollar range.

I will include in the images below the instructions to remove the cabinet and remove the transmission. Remember to unplug the washer first.

The agitator and spin basket will have to be removed also.

You might also want to check out similar washers at the following link: New Similar Washers . New washers start at around $339 dollars and might be a better choice than repairing your washer.

If the bearing is going out then it will most likely not cause further damage if you continue to use it. It will get louder and louder though.
