Washer starts to spin before it empty's on the spin cycle

Thank you for your question. I am sorry you are having a proble with your Kenmore 110.22952102 washer

 Caution: Before attempting any repair, unplug the washer from the wall first. 

This washer has a neutral drain system.  The water should drain out before the spin cycle starts.  The washer should drain approximately 2 minutes before the spin starts. If all of the water doesn't drain out in two minutes then the drain pump may be part of the problem.  There may be something partially blocking the drain system. 

The neutral drain system consist of the timer and parts of the transmission. 

A timer problem might be indicated if the unit drains out but doesn't start to spin. 

If the washer starts to spin before the water drains out and the drain pump is okay then the transmission might be the problem.
