Question and Answers

Q:

water gose direct to drain 11022066101 Kenmore Elite Washer

A:

Thank You for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com. I do apologize for the delay in answering your question.

This problem is called a siphon and it happens when the drain hose is shoved to far down into the standpipe. If the drain hose is stuck down the standpipe lower than the tub the water will fill and start to drain at the same time. If the hose and standpipe have a tight fight with no air gap the siphon may occur. Pulling the drain hose up should correct this problem. I hope this helps.

Q:

Nutation not working 11022066101 Kenmore Elite Washer

A:

Hello Dean. I am sorry to hear about the problem that you are having with your Kenmore Elite Calypso washer.

It sounds like you already have the U-joint. I posted an image below that shows the procedure for removing the U-joint in that type of washer. You will need a spanner wrench (part 14218862) to complete that repair.

Be sure that you unplug the washer before accessing internal components.

A:

The damper/suspension rods might the the problem and are worth checking. The image below will help with this. While the damper rods might be the cause of the problem but the tub bearing might be the problem. Check the damper rods first and then we'll figure out the other options.
