Q:

Extra Part on reassembly 11022052100 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your washer. Upon researching model 11022052100; the pin you are describing is not a part of the washer. The pin is in place on the washer cabinet fame when the unit is shipped out of the manufactures warehouse to make sure that washer suspension does not get damaged by keeping the suspension stable. The pins are left over parts from the shipping bolts that the installer snaps out of place when installing the washer. Since the washer needs to have these shipping bolts to stabilize the unit only when being transported, the bolts are removed leaving behind this pin normally 2 can be found on the inside of the unit.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Q:

11022052100 - Tub wobbling during the spin cycle with a full load. Clothes excessively wet when the full cycle is done.. 11022052100 Kenmore Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer wobbles during the spin cycle.

The next part that would cause your washer to wobble are the suspension springs. If the suspension springs are worn it will cause the unit to shake out of balance.

W10250667 is the suspension springs.  63907 is the counterweight spring.

A tub leaning to one side might indicate a broken counter weight spring.

A:

Natasha12, thanks for your help. That was exactly the part we needed. However, when we replaced the springs, we discovered that the basket had rusted away from the machine. In addition to a basket, what other parts do we need?

Q:

Why is my Kenmore washer not working?

A:

Something like this is going to require using a volt/ohm meter to track down the problem. Several tests will need to be made for the diagnosis. I have included the wiring diagram & component check list in the images provided below. If you decide on attempting the diagnosis & repair yourself, please get back with us for more specific troubleshooting tips.
