Thanks. I removed the cap from the agitator and then removed the dispenser top but it didn't appear to be a bolt head underneath. So that's where the question arose. I'll double check. I plan to purchase the kit.

Thank you, that's a handy chart (and not blurry)! Do you have a history/chart of the various Kenmore washer models? We have an 80 series from 1999 that died, and as I search for a used replacement, I don't know whether the 90 series is newer/better, and after the 90 series, did Kenmore start making the hundreds series (300, 800, etc.)? Or is that another level of quality? What is the chronological order/progression of Kenmore top loading machines? Thank you so much again for your expertise!!
