Thanks for your question about your Kenmore washer not spinning or draining,I will be glad to help with this issue. If I understand you correctly the washer does wash/agitate but will not spin or drain. The most probable reason would be a clogged drain pump causing the motor to stall when it goes into spin cycle.

Here is a link for a previous answer that shows how to access the pump: (disassemble the washer cabinet). washer will not drain

Also you can view the attached image on how to bypass the lid switch for testing before reassembly.Be sure you unplug the washer before accessing internal components. You can disconnect the pump from the motor and push aside. Then put washer in spin cycle with lid switch bypassed. If washer spins then there may be a clogged pump.Be sure that you do not touch any exposed wiring while doing this test.If you find that the pump is clogged you can remove the two hoses from it and check them as well as the pump itself. (I suggest that you remove as much water from tub as possible before attempting any of theses steps. I hope this helps solve your problem, if not please reply with more details. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services
