Q:

Washer won't get clothes "spun dry". 11014102300 Kenmore Automatic washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer is not working properly.

The main parts that will cause a unit not to completely spin water out is the clutch, motor coupling, and/or the motor itself.

You will need to take the unit apart to determine which part to replace.

No Spin Clutch Diagnosis – Easy check for a failed Clutch: Using a load of wet towels, place the
washer into a spin. If the washer will not spin with a load but will spin empty, and the drive block is
good, the clutch will need to be replaced.

"No Spin" or "Wet Clothes" complaints – Do not overlook pulling the basket to inspect the Drive
Block and the ears on the Basketdrive for being bent or worn. If they are it is usually caused by a loose
spanner nut. Inspect/replace the Basketdrive and Drive Block as needed.

Q:

agitator slipping 11014102300 Kenmore Automatic washer

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your agitator on your washer is slipping. I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found that you will need to replace the complete agitator becasue your unit is not equipped with the agitator dogs on the inside of the agitator.

Remove the agitator and check the splines in the bottom to see if they have stripped out on the transmission output shaft. Remove the center cap of the agitator, With a 7/16 in. socket, extension, and wrench, remove the bolt(turn counter clockwise). Grasp the agitator, and lift it up and out of the tub. Turn it upside down and check the splines in the opening of the center, and plastic shavings on the splines of the metal transmission output shaft.
If they are worn, the complete agitator # 63377 will need to be replace
Let me know if this helps.

A:

Normally if the washer won't advance to the rinse cycle the problem can be the lid switch especially if the washer will fill and agitate in the wash cycle.

This particular washer has a lid switch in line with the motor. If the lid switch is bad then the motor will not run at all.

From the description you give I suspect the problem will be with the timer or water level switch.

The water must drain out. If the water drains out then the water level switch should reset to reflect the empty tub. If the water level switch stays stuck on full, violet to tan, then the washer will not fill.

I assume the washer will drain and spin but let me know if it won't. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
