Q:

I was spraying carburetor cleaner in my lawn mower and the straw fell in the hole and I cannot reach it. Will it damage the lawn mower to use it anyway? 107280340 Craftsman Lawn mower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am not really sure which hole you're referring to. Either way, it wouldn't be a good idea to leave it there. If it fell internally into the engine, definitely get it.

Q:

Broken Oil Filter Mounting Bracket 107280340 Craftsman Lawn mower

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you've had with the oil filter housing. I know how frustrating that is.

The oil filter housing is only being offered with the engine sump, which is part number 592849. I am not sure the extent of the damage, but you could try taking it to a small engine repair shop to see if it can be repaired, but if not, you will need the sump. We would recommend having a technician involved for this type of repair.

If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
