Hi,

Thank you for your question. It is concerning when the refrigerator is not functioning correctly.

The icemaker will overflow from the limit screw being misadjusted, or the water flow to the icemaker is not shutting off. You can test the pressure at the water dispenser. Use a measuring cup and dispense 8 ounces of water. It should take 8 to 10 seconds to dispense. If this is correct you will have to make some adjustments at the icemaker. see picture.
If you have adjusted the water down per the instructions, it could be the adjuster on the icemaker at fault. If the small hole is aligned inside the larger hole, see inset on picture that is 7.5 seconds of fill time. Can you turn the adjuster to center the small hole to the large hole? This would be the starting point for the adjustments.

The cover is held in place by some tabs that can be release with a small screwdriver. The image below may help you with this project. Some covers where held in place by a metal clip.
