Thank you for using Manage My Life. I can understand wanting to know when to expect ice from the new ice maker.  Once installed, it will usually take 24 hours before the ice maker produces ice. Make sure the water valve is turned on, the ice maker turned on and the bail arm in the down position. The temperature in the ice maker compartment needs to be about 16 degrees Fahrenheit. Some times there is air in the lines and the ice maker may make smaller cubes or fill slowly. Let the ice maker cycle through about three times and it will correct. A clogged water filter may slow down or stop water delivery and ice production. If the new ice maker does not function after 24 hours, raise bail arm, add water directly to the ice tray, lower bail arm and see if the ice maker will proceed through the harvest cycle. If the ice maker is still not functioning, I recommend having it repaired under warranty.  You can use Sears Home Services to schedule.  I hope this information has helped answer your questions.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.
