Q:

Locate overflow tube from freezer to pan.

A:

 Thank You for contacting ManageMyLife.com

I understand how confusing it can be to find the drain tube on your refrigerator. I have included the step below on how to access the drain tube.

First disconnect power to the unit. Now remove everything from the freezer including the icemaker. You can now remove the air tower (# 23) and take the screws out of the back panel (# 16). With the tower and screws removed you can now pull the back panel forward and disconnect the wires to the motor. With the motor wires loose, you can now pull the back panel out and you will see the evaporator and the drain trough under it. The trough will probably be full of ice that will need to be removed. With the ice out of the trough, you will see the drain hole and can use hot water to clear it. This can take awhile depending how deep the ice has gone. Keep using the hot water and wiping the excess. If you have a small screwdriver, it can be used to help chip out some of the ice in the drain. You will need to use the hot water until it goes all the way down to the bottom drain pan. If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question, with additional details.

Safety Notice: Be sure to disconnect the appliance before performing any troubleshooting procedures. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks or repairs that might be recommended, please contact a local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

If you have further questions please let me know.
