Q:

What are the exact dimensions? 10676242402 Kenmore Top mount

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

The exact cubic feet capacity of this Kenmore refrigerator is 22 cu/ft. The third digit past the prefix of 106 is the cu/ft identification, which in this case is 2, meaning 22 cu/ft.

The manufacturer does not provide us with the specific measurements of the refrigerator, all we have are the shipping measurements.  However, I show the length as 2F 11.5", Width as 2F 10.5", and Height as 5F 8". I would measure the unit and compare with the measurements I have provided to confirm.

Hopefully this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

I have a 2005 Kenmore refrigerator # 10676242402 that has been unplugged for three years.

A:

Knowing the refrigerator was working before it went into storage and is not working now can be frustrating. I did some research on your model number but was not able to find a solution. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days for your expert to reply. If you would like to look into Sears doing the repair here is a link for Sears Home Services. I do hope that everything works out on the refrigerator.

Thank you for your question.  Depending on the conditions of storage, a refrigerator will normally work when plugged back in.  I would check the coils and motor area to make sure they are clean.  Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning this area. If the compressor does not kick in at all, it will need to be checked for electrical and sealed system issues.  The water dispenser coming on when the door is opened also sounds like an electrical component problem.  A technician is needed to properly check these systems.  You can schedule a Sears technician at Sears Home Services. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
