Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern about this water leak. The drain pan is located behind the unit on the side where the leak seems to be coming from. It's possible the drain pan may be overfilling or cracked and could be causing this leak. Another possibility would be if the water line inside the fridge section is leaking, when the dispenser is being used. This would cause water to leak out of the front of the door. If there is any water under the crispers, it would indicate this as the most likely problem. If both of these checks are ok, I would recommend having a technician check this. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

My Kenmore same model started leaking overnight. Found water on floor. It sseems to be coming from the center area underneath. As I cleaned off the fins underneath, I noticed there was a dampness on the right edge of the insulation by the grill. I pulled out the water filter and emptied it. Have not put it back in. There is a pan, like an ice cube tray attached to the right of the water filter area. I would guess that is the drip pan. It seems to be dry. I have no idea where the drain tube is located, to check that to see if there is blockage, or how I get to it.Any help would be appreciated.
