Thank you for choosing Manage My Life. Several things could be causing your refrigerator not to make ice. First, I recommend checking the red LED light next to the door on the receiver board. If it's flashing, the number of flashes can indicate an error code and determine the problem. I'm sending you a chart for the LED light. If the LED is normal, there are some test terminals on the icemaker module, that can also help determine, what the problem might be. To access the module, pull the front cover off of the icemaker. You will now see the module and the test terminals will be marked). Use a well insulated jumper and place it between the L-V terminals. Be careful this is a hot (live wire) check. Water should now flow to the icemaker, with the jumper in place. If water does flow, the icemaker will have to be replaced. If no water flows the water valve will probably need to be replaced. Some voltage checks need to be made, to determine for sure. A volt/ohm meter will be required or a technician may be needed.

The area between the doors will be warm and sometimes it can get hot. This is normal. There is a hot gas line that runs in this section, to keep moisture from accumulating. If you need more assistance, you can resubmit your question with more details.
