Question and Answers

Q:

How do I replace the rear wheel of a refrigerator?

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model 106.73932301, I will be glad to assist you. In order to change the wheel you will have to remove the rivet pin the wheel attaches to.  Often this rivet or pin must be cut off to remove it for wheel replacement. Suggest you inspect the rivet/pin before you start the project.   This job is easier if you disconnect the refrigerator. Unload it so it can be laid on its side for easy access.  Any time you lay a refrigerator on its side or back you must allow it two hours (standing back upright) longer than the laid down time before applying power to the unit. I hope this helps, if you need a technician here is a link to Sears Home Services.  Ron H.

Q:

Did I receive the correct door gasket?

A:

The gasket you received is correct. It will also just snap into place, in the groove in the door panel. Most all door gaskets are of this design now. It should stay in place, it's exactly like the original on it now. They work very well and rarely pull out. If it were to pull out, all that is necessary is, to place some rtv sealant # 482338 in the groove, then press the gasket back in and it will help hold the gasket in place. If you need more assistance, you can resubmit your question with more details.
