Q:

model 10672852100 the drain tube freezes and water run to the fridge

A:

I can see how the drain line continuing to freeze and leak into the refrigerator would be frustrating. It sounds like you have done everything correctly. I found a similar post to your question with a previous expert answer, that may shed some light on the problem. I attached below. Hope this helps while you wait for the expert answer.

The answer Barbara H sent gives instructions for cleaning the drain pan on most top mount refrigerators. It sounds like you have already cleaned the drain pan.

When you remove the evaporator cover is the drain pan full of ice? When you cleared the tube did you run a wire or something down the drain tube from the drain pan to clean it? Did you pour some hot water through the tube to clean it out after you unstopped it?

I am sorry to answer your question with more questions, but the repair you did should have solved the problem.

If you have a ball of ice building up on the left side of the evaporator coil, you could have a different problem.

Q:

Why is water accumulating on the shelves of my Kenmore 106.72852100 refrigerator?

A:

Water will leak into the refrigerator when the drain system freezes up. Every time the unit goes into a defrost cycle, water will run down into the refrigerator, instead of down the drain. First turn the unit off or disconnect power to the unit. To clear the drain, remove everything in the freezer so the back panel can be removed. With the panel removed, you will see the evaporator coil and directly under the coil is the drain trough (pan). The trough will probably be full of ice that will need to be removed. With the ice out of the trough, you will be able to see the drain hole which will be plugged with ice. Use hot water to clear the drain hole. Keep working the hot water into the hole and wiping the excess water. This can take quite awhile depending on how deep the ice is. This will need to be done until you get a good water flow down to the bottom drain pan. With the drain system clear, water should stop leaking in the refrigerator.
