kenmore cold spot model# 106.72206202 106.72206202

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your fridge and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 10672206202 and from your description I suspect that the air damper that pushes the air into the fridge from the freezer may be frozen shut or is not opening as it should. The air diffuser is item 26, 24 and 9. The opening and closing of the damper inside the diffuser, is what regulates the temperature in the fridge section. If it does not seem to be working correctly, depending on the model, it could be due to the diffuser itself, the control board or the sensor. I hope this information helps with your troubleshooting.  If you have further questions please resubmit your question for further information.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.
