Hi,

Thank you for your question. It is concerning when the refrigerator is not functioning correctly.

The motor winding ohmed out is a good thing, now if you have volts from the control to the compressor that would start to narrow down the faulty part. I would need the model of the refrigerator to tell you anymore than that.

I had 120 volts to the black wire on the compressor control & on the red wire, when the refrigerator is turned on.

This model refrigerator uses an inverted box to convert power to the compressor. If on the inverter mounted to the compressor red to white 120 vac if there is 120 volts AC there , ohm out the motor winding and if the winding ohm ok replace the inverted box.

Thanks for sending the model of the refrigerator. I assume the gap is in a section of the gasket. Try washing the door gasket and the face of the cabinet where it seals with warm soapy water. Clean and dry the gasket and mark the area that doesn't seal with a pencil.

Heat the part of the gasket that isn't sealing with a hairdryer and stretch the outer edge away from the door so it can reach the cabinet better.

Check the mounting screws in the door hinges for tightness. Check the door for any damage.

It is unusual for these doors to not seal. Reply if you have questions. I will be glad to help.
