Question and Answers

Why is the water overflowing from the defrost bins at bottom out onto the floor on my Kenmore model 106.70864991 refrigerator?

From the description you give the defrost drain is blocked and the water is ending up where it is not supposed to end up.

There is a drain pan behind the kickplate where the water from the defrost cycle should end up. There is a drain outlet in the back of the refrigerator.

The water should not drain into the bottom of the refrigerator section beneath the storage bins. If the water is ending up there then the drain in the freezer section is blocked.

A clogged drain can be difficult to clear out without completely defrosting the refrigerator. You can remove the rear panel of the freezer and make a visual check of any ice build up. Remember to unplug the refrigerator first.

The drain exits in the back of the refrigerator down a plastic tube to the drip pan behind the kick plate.

Compressed air is the best thing to use for unclog the drain after it is thawed out.

I hope this information is helpful to you but submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.
