Question and Answers

Q:

Kenmore Coldspot Refridgerator Model # 10670289990 10670289990

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I am sorry to hear of the water inside the refrigerator on a weekly basis, I can see how frustrating that is to have occur.
My first though is a possible gasket issue on the refrigerator door, allowing the warmer room air to leak inside and causing condensation. This could be caused by the top portion of the door gasket to be ripped or torn in a specific spot.
A second thought would be a possible drain tube issue with the freezer's defrost. If the defrost cycle is completed and the drain tube is blocked, it could allow that water to come in through the air diffuser and build-up on the top shelf.
In a situation such as this with multiple things potentially causing the issue, a technician would be a good idea. If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-349-5071, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.
Let us know if we can be of any further assistance and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

What is the capacity of this refrigerator?

A:

Total capacity of this unit is 12 or 22 cu ft. If this is a large top mount it will be 22 cu ft. I don't have the exact specs for this unit but the average freezer capacity would be approx 6.5 cu ft and refrigerator 15.1 cu ft. If this is a 12 cu ft the average freezer capacity is approx 3 cu ft and freezer 9 cu ft. I hope this will help you. If you need more assistance you can resubmit your question with more details.
