Question and Answers

Q:

Refridgerator won't freeze 10670264991 Kenmore Top-mount refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

It sounds like the door gasket isn’t sealing properly. I would do the dollar bill check. Get a crisp dollar bill and place in between the door and the unit. Close the door and try to pull the dollar out, if it come out too easy then the gasket needs replaced. Make sure you go all around the door to check the whole gasket. Also check for visual cracks and tears in the gasket itself.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

Replace defrost drain tube 10670264991 Kenmore Top-mount refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when needing to replace the drain tube on your Refrigerator. I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found a couple tubes that are in this unit.  I would need more information on where the tube is located in the unit? What is the tube near? Also what is the tube connected to?
I am showing there is a total of 5 tubes located in this unit and would like to get you the correct one so you do not have to keep cleaning the one you already have. If you would like to view the diagram you can always visit searspartsdirect.com

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.

Q:

How would I remove and replace the front roller on a Kenmore Refrigerator Model 106.70264991? part 2166108

A:

Remove any liquids from the refrigerator that can spill or glass that can break and turn the controls off.

Remove the panel across the bottom of the refrigerator under the door, and pull the refrigerator forward about 1-2 feet.

You need 2-2X4 blocks and lay them on the long side in front of the refrigerator. Tilt the refrigerator toward the rear and slide the 2 blocks underneath the front bar of the refrigerator cabinet. Place the blocks one on top of the other one and near the center of the refrigerator front.

There is one bolt holding the roller on to the front of the cabinet, remove it and the roller will fall out the bottom of the refrigerator.
