I'm sorry you are having this problem. The information you have received is correct but it appears you have already cleaned the drain a few times. There is a Heat Probe Kit # 819043 that can be installed to help prevent this type of problem. This kit is available SearsPartsDirect and will come with instructions. It's very easy to install.

There is also another reason this can be occurring. The water can splash out of the fill tube when the icemaker calls for water. There is an extension # 2203024 that will correct this problem. I'm attaching pictures with instructions to install this part. It's available at the site listed above also. To check if this is happening, you will need to turn the icemaker off for a few days. If the drain does not freeze up during this time, then it will be the problem. I hope this helps you. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
