Question and Answers

Why does my Kenmore refrigerator model number 10669852991 drip water from the inside?

Why does my Kenmore refrigerator model 10669852991 drip water from the inside?

In most cases the reason for water leakage is because the drain system is frozen or restricted. There are some models that require the control panel to be reworked. You can check the drain system though to see if it's frozen. First unplug the unit from the wall outlet and then remove the shelf and ice maker if it has one from the freezer section. Then you can remove the back cover panel and will have access to the evaporator and drain tray that should be located right under the evaporator. If it's frozen remove the ice using hot water and when the ice is loose lift it out and then use the hot water to clear the drain hole. This can take awhile till the water runs free down to the bottom drain pan. If you need more assistance you can resubmit your question with more details.
