Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you're having this problem with the fridge. The information you have received is good. If there is a thick frost accumulation on the back wall in the freezer, this will be a problem with the defrost system. As the frost gets thicker, the air flow to the fridge will be reduced. In this case, turn the unit off for 24 hours and if possible move the food from the freezer, so the door can be kept open. This will allow time for the unit to defrost and it will work ok again then for a few days until the frost builds back up. This will give you a chance to have it checked by a technician. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

I know it's frustrating when the refrigerator doesn't work properly. The information you have received is good but this will be a different situation. Being subjected to cold ambient temps can cause cooling problems with a refrigerator. Normally, it will cause the freezer section to get warm, while the fridge section still cools ok. If this problem only seems to occur when the ambient temperature is cold, this will be normal. The only fix will be to, either move the refrigerator to a warmer location or try to get some heat in the area it's in now. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further.
