I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your ice maker. The red blinking light is due to a malfunction in either the optics or the ice maker itself. The image below will provide the information and how to diagnose the problem. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

I can understand your concern. If the doors are closed and the door alarm still sounds, usually the main board # W10210789 will need to be replaced. However, it could be a loose connection or the door may not be making good enough contact, with the door switch. I recommend to first, press each door light switch in manually, to see if the alarm stops. If it does, the door may need to be adjusted. If the doors are making good contact, then the switch or switches will need to be replaced. If the alarm still sounds, the board will probably need to be replaced. This is an expensive board and I recommend having a technician check it first. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a technician come out. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

What could be the problem with the dispenser?

A:

The click will be the actuator switch. The problem could be a frozen reservoir, the core board in the dispenser or the smart valve. The reservoir is located behind the crispers. You can take it loose and shake it, to see if the water is frozen. This can be a difficult dispenser to check even for a technician. A volt/ohm meter will be required to make some checks in the dispenser and at the smart valve. I recommend having a technician make these checks. If you need more assistance, you can resubmit your question with more details
