Having a dispenser is nice until it stops working. The information you have received is good but it does not pertain to this model. The solenoid in this dispenser is for the cube ice. It opens a gate, to allow the cubes to fall out, it does not control the motor. To check the motor, will require making a couple of voltage checks. If you have a meter and feel confident in making these checks, be very careful because it can be dangerous. First, remove the top freezer door hinge cover and place the meter leads on the blue and white wires. Do not disconnect the harness. These checks must be made with the wires connected. Now press in on the actuator and check for 120 volts. If the voltage is there, the next check will be at the motor itself. The bucket will need to be removed so the motor bracket (# 1 in picture) can be removed, to access the motor. If there is 120 volts at the motor, it will need to be replaced. Be sure to disconnect power to the refrigerator before removing the motor bracket. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further.

A:

Put the black capacitor wires where the instructions call for the cap blue wires. The red and white wires should be covered in the instructions.
