Thanks for the information about your refrigerator model 106.59097991, I will be glad to assist with this issue. Based on the description of the water leak I think it could be coming from the door or from the filter housing just below the door. I suggest that you try not using the water in the door feature for a few days, if the water stops it was most likely coming from the tube inside the door. If it continues to leak it could be sweating inside the door due to a bad dispenser heater. I would also place a cloth pad on toe- plate just under the door, this will separate the door from the filter housing, If cloth wet it's from door if floor wet and not the cloth it's from the filter housing(most likely)  Once you have determined where the leak is coming from we can then determine how to stop the leak. I hope this helps, please reply with any other information that will assist me in helping you.

Do you think someone could have made a note....ice despenser flapper door no longer made with a heater inside. It has been determined that (hold on to your hats) they fail. Engineers decided they could just use the 2 cent plastic door...as a replacement. They still cost 50 bucks, but hey, now you know.

I understand your concern. The part you received is correct. The heater is no longer being used. The new door has been updated and does not require the use of the heater. The chute heater will not have anything to do with the door. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further.
