I have attached a link from a previous answer that will help. Follow the advice and instructions to test the ice maker and door functions. Based on you description I think this will help you. Here is the link; How do I get my ice maker to work? There is no ice/water in the system anywhere.

I recommend following the information from our Expert Lyle to resolve this issue. If you have to replace parts, emitter boards (4389102), ice maker (2198597), and water intlet valve (W10408179). Why won't the ice bin snap back in place?
