Question and Answers

Why does the ice chute keep jamming?

The main reason for this happening is, using primarily crushed ice. In most cases, crushed ice is what is being used and not all of the small ice particles will come out. They build up and cause the chute to jam up. This is normal and all that needs to be done is, use cube ice periodically to clear the chute. Another possibility is, if the cubes are too big. Reducing the water level slightly can solve this. I'm attaching a picture with instructions, to adjust the water level in the icemaker. Also make sure the dispenser door is sealing good. If it doesn't seal all the way, air will leak inside and cause the chute to frost up. If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question, with additional details.
