Thank you for your question. I suspect you are referring to the air diffuser that is icing up. Normally, any ice in this area will be on the outside, which will drip to the bottom of the refrigerator. If there was some ice inside the diffuser, it should not be much and it can also leak down inside the fridge section. Normally, when this occurs, it's because outside air leaked inside the cabinet. Check the door to make sure it's closing good and the gasket is making a good seal. If there are gaps, a hair dryer can be used to smooth them out but be careful not to get the gasket too hot. This can also happen if the doors were opened often and for long periods of time. I hope this will help you.
