I looked carefully at the parts listings and drawings on this refrigerator. I do not see a revision of that parts diagram with additional parts. The diffuser (Key 7 in the drawing below) does substitute to a new part number. The original diffuser part number 2209753 is now part number W10151374. I am not aware of that part being revised. It is essentially the same part. I did not find any new parts added that were not originally included in that parts list or parts diagram. I looked at your previous question that you posted in September of 2011. Here is a link for that previous question: My refrigerator has stopped cooling in the upper portion and on the intake back to freezer side it is icing up in the frig. I do not hear fan. I do not see any mention of missing or revised parts in that previous answer. Let me know where you received the information about revised or missing parts and we will look into that issue further. That particular refrigerator is manufactured for Kenmore by Whirlpool. All Kenmore products are manufactured by existing vendors using specific guidelines and specifications provided by Kenmore. You seem to indicate that your problem is that the damper (diffuser -- Key 7) is building up frost so that you are not getting adequate cooling air from the freezer side to the fresh food (refrigerator) side of the compartment. I am not aware of revised parts that will fix this type of problem. I see that Expert Scott provided you with some troubleshooting for the fan problem that you were describing in your previous question. If that did not help you resolve the problem or you need more assistance, reply with additional details. If you are still building up front in that damper (diffuser) area then you could have leak around the door seals or another area of the cabinet. Here is a link for a video that discusses some other causes of refrigerator cooling problems: Refrigerator Not Cooling Repair . That video may help you understand what type of failure is causing that excessive frost build-up around the damper. Be sure that you unplug the refrigerator before accessing internal components. If you need more help diagnosing and repairing that problem, reply with additional details.

That type of frost build-up around the damper can sometimes be difficult to diagnose and repair on your own. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician examine and fix this problem, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
