Q:

how to replace the wires coming out of the freezer door on 10658163703

A:

Wiring repair can be tricky. While you wait for the expert to answer, you can check the schematics at Sears Parts Direct if you like. They may help see where everything fits. I attached the link below. If you do decide you would feel more comfortable having an expert technician make these repairs, an option is to visit Sears Home Services and use the handy scheduler. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question.

I have checked the model number you have submitted. I am sorry but the wire harness of the door is not replaceable. When the door is made, the harness is put inside and then the inside of the door is filled with expandable foam. If the wires for the door break down at the connector, I have had some luck using butt connectors. I cut the wire at the break and reconnected the wires with a butt connector. If the break is to close to the door, you have to replace the whole door.

I hope you are able to fix the wires because door can be expensive. If you need further assistance, please reply below with more details.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
