Q:

How to replace a shelf stud 10657762790

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
In order to replace the shelf stud, the crisper and shelf will need to be removed. From there, you will need a pair of pliers to grip around the base or circular portion of the stud that sits against the liner and twist it a quarter turn counterclockwise and then pull it while slightly wiggling and twisting it to remove it from the liner.
Just keep in mind, the flat edges should be horizontal when secured. The same principle holds for the installation. Put the new locking stud into place, and turn a quarter turn clockwise to secure it into place.
There are some YouTube videos that describe the installation process with visuals if needed for guidance, but they are pretty straightforward installation parts.

Q:

ice dispenser no longer works 10657762790 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your fridge and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number 10657762790 and can you tell if the ice is dropping into the icebin? If you have ice in the bin, then you are having an issue with the dispensing part of the fridge. It is possible that the ice door is frozen shut or the ice door itself has failed. I recommend taking a look at the dispensing section and make sure the ice door is working properly. If the ice is not ejecting from the mold it may be a motor issue with the icemaker. You may also want to make sure the shut off arm(metal arm that raises and lowers) that controls the production of the ice. I hope this information helps. If you have further questions please let me know.
Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com
