Q:

In-line water filter 10657562790 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
It is hard for me to answer this question because you failed to relay which in-line filter kit you've purchased. There are many in-line refrigerator filter kits available.
With any type of kit through Sears, you will receive installation instructions, but I am not sure if the kit you've purchased will be all inclusive with the supply line. Usually they would include the filter, the connectors, and hardware. Sometimes the filters will just go between the water line, so you will cut the existing water line and stick each end of the filter in the cut line.
Hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

Are there any instruction manuals available, on replacing the dispenser levers?

A:

Unfortunately there are no instructions for this. However, I'm attaching a picture with instructions to remove the dispenser cover. With the cover off, you will have access to almost the complete dispenser. Now disconnect power to the unit and remove the bracket control (# 15 in picture). With this out you will have complete access to the dispenser and can replace the levers. I hope this helps you. If you need more assistance, please resubmit your question, with additional details.

Safety Notice: Be sure to disconnect the appliance before performing any troubleshooting procedures. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks or repairs that might be recommended, please contact a local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com. The directions in how to replace your dispenser levers depend on what model refrigerator you have. I have included general instructions below on how to replace the lever. You can also view the images for more disassembly help.
SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact your local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

1. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet, or turn off the refrigerator breaker in your home's service panel.

2. Remove the drip tray from the bottom of the dispenser by pulling it toward you, away from the dispenser.

3. Remove the screws now visible at the bottom of the dispenser, with the drip tray removed, and then slide the front panel of the dispenser up to remove. If there are no screws, look on the underside of the trim surrounding the refrigerator's dispenser panel for a flat pry slot. If there is a slot, insert a flat-head screwdriver into the slot and pry the trim off the front of the refrigerator. If there is no pry slot, grasp the control panel by the bottom, and then pull the bottom of the panel away from the dispenser. This method is most common on General Electric and Hotpoint refrigerators.

4. Disconnect the wire connector or connectors on the rear of the control panel, which is removed with the trim.

5. Remove the screws securing the dispenser module to the refrigerator, and then pull the module away from the dispenser.

6. Disconnect the wire connectors from the dispenser module, and then connect the wire connectors to the new dispenser module, if replacing this particular component.

7. Remove the screws and bracket from the top of the dispenser lever, located on the rear of the dispenser module, and then remove the dispenser lever, if replacing this component. Insert the new lever into the control module, ensuring that the spring is aligned with the spring slot in the lever. Reinstall the screws and bracket to secure the new lever into position.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services
