A:

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your refrigerator. However, removing the defrost drain pan would require separating the base from the cabinet by a technician.

Disconnect or unplug the power to the refrigerator before removing the kick plate and rear panel.

I recommend gaining access to the drain pan by removing the bottom kick plate grill and you may be able to gain access by removing lower panel behind the refrigerator. I recommend carefully putting just a little bit of Bleach in the pan with some warm water and use an old towel and wipe and soak up what you can. You might be able to use a wet/dry vacuum to remove the water out of the drain pan if necessary.

To help prevent odors I would put a very small amount of Bleach in the drain pan after cleaning to help kill any odor producing bacteria.
