Q:

Refrigator door shelves 10657071790 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the door bin falling from the door, I know how frustrating that is to have occur.
The upper door bins, the deep door bins, are still available for purchase. The lower two have been discontinued and are no longer being offered for sale. You didn't specifically mention which door bin it was that you are having the issue with. You may want to look at the bin where it connects or the connectors from the door to see if there is any cracking or anything causing the bin to not stay connected and secured. It could be the weight that was in the bin(s) could have caused the inner door panel to begin to bow out, which would correlate with your mention of the 'expanding door.' You just have to be cautious of how much is put into the bins so that it doesn't overload them.
If this is for a lower bin that's been discontinued, you could try running an internet search for the part number and see if there are still any in circulation. The part number was 2182788. Since this unit was manufactured in 1998, it about 16 years of age, and parts will be discontinued if there isn't enough demand for the part.
Hope this helps and wish you the best with the refrigerator. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Q:

How do I wire overlod kit No.4387535 to the compressor? Kenmore mod 10657071790 10657071790 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when needing to replace the overload in your refrigerator. I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found information that will assist you. The red wire goes to the relay, then on the back of the relay where the holes are on the relay you will put the double white on the number 5 and blue on number 6.

Let me know if this helps. Thank you for your question. Have a great day.
