We don't have step by step instructions for removing the mold and heater from the icemaker.

I am sending you an image from the parts diagram showing the parts of the icemaker.

You start on the motor end and remove parts until the mold and heater are removed from the icemaker.

Icicles on the mold usually indicate the icemaker has lime and calcium built up on it. The buildup will wick the water over the edge of the mold and cause icicles.

To clean the icemaker remove it from the refrigerator and soak it overnight in a pan of 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water. Scrub the lime and calcium off the mold. You might have to soak the icemaker 2-3 times to get all the lime and calcium removed.

Be careful to not put the motor or controls into the water. Remove the fill cup to clean around it.

If you have questions, reply on this thread and I will be glad to help.

You can replace the complete icemaker by ordering part number W10190965 from Parts Direct The price is $76.04.
