Question and Answers

Q:

High amps on condenser start. 10655612400 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

A:

Hi,

Thanks for contacting  ManageMyLife.  I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

For any load carrying device, when you start it up and load can be up to almost the fuse rating.  If the unit starts up and then drops the load off to a normal amp draw this is normal.  When the 17 amps remain after the unit is running, this is not normal.  What is the problem with the refrigerator you are checking out?

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.
