I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your refrigerator. However, without the model number, I can one provide some general information. Here are some things to check: if your unit has an ice maker check to see if it may be overflowing the ice mold or inlet water missing the inlet funnel.
Another source of water in bottom of the freezer is a clogged defrost drain that is located under the evaporator coil in very back of freezer bottom. This defrost trough collects defrost water and drains it to the machine compartment under the unit where it evaporates. If this trough is clogged a complete defrost manually is required , access the trough by removing evaporator cover and cleaning the drain by forcing air through it.Be cautious of sharp metals and always disconnect power supply before servicing appliance. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, just click on this link: Sears Home Services. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

On this model, from what you are describing it sounds like the drain tube is frozen. If the water from the unit can not drain it will continue to freeze and refreeze inside. After some time, the water will find a way out of the unit. If you clear the drain tube, it will stop leaking. It can be a little difficult to access the drain in this refrigerator. To clear the drain, remove everything in the freezer, so the back panel can be removed. First disconnect power to the unit. With the panel removed, you will see the evaporator coil and directly under the coil is the drain trough (pan). The trough will probably be full of ice that will need to be removed. With the ice out of the trough, you will be able to see the drain hole, which will be plugged with ice. Use hot water to clear the drain hole. Keep working the hot water into the hole and wiping the excess water. This can take quite awhile, depending on how deep the ice is. This will need to be done until you get a good water flow down to the bottom drain pan. With the drain system clear, water should stop leaking in the refrigerator. The drain tube itself inside the cabinet wall, cannot be accessed. If you would like more assistance, additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further. I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your ice dispenser. On this model the dispenser has a duel auger for the crushed and shaved ice. It is possible that the motor is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. The images below will provide the instructions on how to access the motor. While you are looking at it, I would suggest you try to run it to make sure that this is the issue. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, just click on this link to schedule service: Sears Home Services . I hope this helps with your refrigerator. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
