I'm sorry you are having this problem with your refrigerator. The information you have received from Jackie is good for the icemaker. Based on the information listed, I suspect the temperature in the freezer is not getting cold enough, which can cause both of the problems you're having. The freezer temperature should be between 0 & 5 degrees. If the temperature gets above 10 degrees, it could be causing both problems. To check the temperature, place a thermometer between some packages. Air temperature is not a good check. If the temperature is too warm, usually adjusting the freezer control to a colder setting will correct this problem. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further.

The information you have received is correct about using the hair dryer or hot water but to remove the icemaker, will be different, in this model. The icemaker in this model will have to slide out. There is a clip that will have to be removed first. The images below show the clip and the procedure to remove the icemaker. Be sure to disconnect power to the refrigerator first. With the icemaker out, I recommend using hot water to remove the ice from the mold. I hope this will help you.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
