Your details indicate a stuck or shorted button in the push button switch assembly. The switch assembly is not available separately. The front cover assembly will come with the switch assembly, overlay, housing and wire harness assembly.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your refrigerator.

If the beeping is coming from the control panel it could also be a door open signal. If both of the doors are closed and it is still beeping the control board will need to be replaced.

Q:

Where does the water filter go in my Kenmore refridgerator

A:

Knowing specific information upon your appliance is always a plus. I placed the Owner's Manual for you to look at. In the booklet you will find additional information on changing the filter on the refrigerator. It will help you in changing the filter and the proper way of changing it if you fallow the steps step by step.

Thank you for your question.

I should be able to help you with replacing the filter in the refrigerator. I have looked up the part number for the filter. The part number is 9010 and can be ordered from our parts website: Sears Parts Direct .

The filter is located in the grille on the refrigerator below the doors. To remove the filter turn it a 1/4 counterclockwise and pull it out. There will be a small amount of water that will come out so have a towel handy to wipe it up. Next slide the end cap off the end of the old filter and install it on the new filter. Then insert the new filter and turn it a 1/4 turn clockwise. After the new filter is installed, purge the air out of the lines by running 2 to 3 gallons out of the dispenser.

I have provided you with the instructions below.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.
