Question and Answers

Q:

refrigerator / Freezer not working 106.53654300

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

I am sorry to hear of the cooling issues you are experiencing with the freezer and refrigerator, I know how frustrating that is to have occur.

Presuming the compressor at the back-bottom of the unit is on and running, the temperature control board or microcomputer would be the part to look at to fix the issue.

Since you've mentioned you had a technician come out and look at the unit, I would imagine they had made sure the compressor was running. If the compressor was not running, the start device combo, part number 8201786 would be the most logical part needed.

Since the freezer thermostat is integrated into the microcomputer control, that would be the most likely part if the compressor unit is working.

Hopefully this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
