Q:

LED light code for icemaker 10653609202 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more then happy to assist you. Let us try this, tape the freezer door switch in the closed position. At the icemaker L-N do you have 120 volts AC?

NOTE: You should only check that live outlet voltage if you are completely confident in your technical ability to safely measure it. Wear proper safety equipment (electrical safety gloves and safety goggles) when checking that live outlet voltage.

If, YES,
Use a jumper, 14 gauge insulated wire, and jump L-V, does water enter the icemaker,
If, YES ,
Module is faulty,
If no,
Go to the water valve and check the valve, with the jumper still installed the valve should hum and have, with the connector on the valve, 120 volts AC. If reading 120 volts AC across the valve with connector installed, replace the valve if no water is flowing into the tube to the icemaker.

If, NO,
A
Access the receiver, the one on the right side of the freezer wall, at the connector check the black wire to the white wire for 120 volts AC. Next check the yellow to the white wire, there should be 0 volts AC. Next check black/white wire to the white wire, you should find 120 volts AC, if not make a jumper and
….Disconnect the refrigerator from the wall ….and jump the black wire to the black/white wire…..
Reconnect the power at the wall …and check the L-N at the icemaker.

Q:

My freezer temp is 40 degrees and the frige temp 58 degrees 10653609202 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help you. Upon researching model 10653609202 it has an electronic temperature control. Being electrical board it could still be working but not properly. If still getting cold but not to proper temp then it could be the board needs to be replaced. Check to see if the center support between the fridge door and freezer door is hot. It could be the condenser coils are hot and not cooling and keeping the unit warm.

If you have any further questions please re-post.Thank you for choosing Sears have a great day.
