Question and Answers

Q:

the part # for the water and ice maker doesnt show the water inlet valve as part of the new assembly 10653332300 Kenmore Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 10653332300 and the parts list does not list a kit that includes since the refrigerator you have already came with an icemaker installed. There is an icemaker kit that includes the valve that is sold for models that did not come with an icemaker installed. The part number for the icemaker is W10190961 and the valve is W10408180 I have included a link to our Parts Direct page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

Q:

Refrigerator water dispenser leaks. 10653332300 Kenmore Refrigerator

Q:

Leaking drain pan

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your drain pan is leaking from your refrigerator. I did look into the model number you have provided and I do show that the drain pan is located in the front of the unit. I have done research and I have found the instructions to remove the drain pan.

First, unplug the refrigerator and remove the front grille. Most models the filter has to be removed to remove the grille. Next, remove the screws securing the water filter housing. Then pull it out of the way. If there is not enough line to pull it out of the front, you have to remove the back panel of the refrigerator. Once the panel is off, pull the filter housing out of the back. After that is out of the way, you can pull the drip pan out the front. Sometimes they are taped in position. Just cut the tape. There is also a metal tab in front the drip pan that might need to be bent down before removing. Once it is out install the new pan in the reverse order. Before reinstalling the filter housing make sure the drain tube is positioned over the drip pan. Let me know if this helps.  Thank you for your question. Have a great day.
