Question and Answers

Q:

Ice bin will not dispense ice 106-52554100

A:

Thanks for the question about your refrigerator model 106-52554100, sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you with this issue. The most common reason for the auger failure to turn is the coupler breaking; there is one at the bottom of the ice bucket and one at the top of the door auger shaft that matches the bucket coupler.  First remove the bucket and with door switch closed test to see if the shaft turns, if it does then check the coupler. I am not sure what screw you are referring too, all that I know of are regular threaded screws. I am not sure about your reference to part # 5 either; the # 5 in the ice bucket pic is spacers.  I hope this helps if you need added help reply with details and I will be happy to respond. Q:

everthing in refrigerator is freezing 10652554100 Kenmore Side-by-side refrigerator

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model 10652554100; sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist you. Based on the information you have provided I suggest that you check the diffuser located in the fresh food section top left corner. This control allows air flow from the freezer section into the fresh food area. I suspect this control has broken and the diffuser door is in the open position, allowing too much cold air into the fresh food section. If the thermistor is working the refrigerator cycles off then cold air drops from the freezer down into the fresh food section through the lower return air vent causing even more freezing. _Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product_I hope this helps you, if you need more helps reply with added details and I will be happy to respond.
