Q:

Drip pan sometimes called evaporator pan 10652542101 Kenmore Side-by-side refrigerator

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

It can be a little tricky to remove the tray in this model. Remove the bottom grill and you will see the filter housing. There will be 2 screws holding it in place. On the left side of the filter housing toward the back you will see the drain pan. Remove the screws holding the filter housing and move it as far as possible away from the drain pan. The pan will now slide out but it will be tight. It may need to be tilted slightly to remove it.

If the pan needs to be cleaned, I recommend unplugging the refrigerator and removing the back panel of the refrigerator. Then use a bleach water solution to wipe out the tray. The tray is difficult to access but can be done. Make sure not to drip water on to the electrical connections of the fan or compressor. After the tray is cleaned, reattach the rear cover and plug the refrigerator in.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
