A:

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having this problem with the fan motor. Based on the information listed, it appears the evaporator motor has failed. If it will run and then quits after a short time, it does indicate there is power to the motor. This motor # 4389147 will need to be replaced. It's available at Sears PartsDirect. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services.

Q:

Can you remove the tube from the water dispenser?

A:

The water tube to the dispenser can be removed and replaced. It slides through a channel inside the door. To remove the tube, first disconnect the water connection under the freezer door. If the connection does not have a compression nut, then it will be a push pull type connection. To remove the water line, press inward on the collar and pull out on the line (see picture). Some water will come out with this line loose. Now you will need to remove the dispenser cover (see picture). With the cover off, you will have access to the tube. Remove the screw holding the tube fitting and you can pull the water tube up through the door. The new tube will slide back in. If you need more assistance, you can resubmit your question with more details.
