I recommend that you unplug the refrigerator and check the wire harness connection on that air baffle at the top of the refrigerator compartment. The harness should be plugged into the lower receptacle on that component as shown in the first image below. I doubt if you will see a problem with it being plugged into the upper receptacle but that issue is worth checking.

The second image shows a diagnostic test program that you can enter to check that air baffle motor. I recommend that you perform that test next. If that baffle motor fails the diagnostic test, then I recommend that you unplug the refrigerator and check the wiring connections between that baffle and the control board.

I provided the wiring diagram in the third image. You can check the wire harness connections on the control board using that information. The wires for the air baffle are traced in the wire colors (black, white/black and orange/black). If those wire connections are okay and the baffle failed the diagnostic test then it will probably need to be replaced. You can order parts from this page: Kenmore Refrigerator 106.52264100 Parts .

These initial tips may help you determine the cause of this cooling failure in your refrigerator. If the baffle passes that test, then you could have a problem with the thermistor (temperature sensor) or you could have an automatic defrost system failure. Here is a link for a video that discusses troubleshooting for a defrost system failure.

If you need more help, reply with additional details.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this cooling failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Q:

What is causing the fill tube and cup to freeze on my icemaker?

A:

Addendum: Could it be overfilling the ice mold? Surface of ice seems to be all the way up to the fill cup outlet; is this fill too high?

A:

The valve should be ok on this model. The normal fix for this is, to replace the fill tube # 4389174 which will also include a heater kit. This kit is available at Sears PartsDirect . This can be a very difficult kit to install and a technician may be needed.
