I know that it can be difficult to have issues with the ice maker. The ice maker can be leaking for several reasons:

  • The ice maker could be staying in the fill part of the cycle to long; this ice maker should have a 7.5 second fill time.
  • It could be the fill valve allowing too much water flow through it.
  • Sometimes the water will splash while it's filling.
  • The mold could have a small crack in it.

In order to determine where the leak is coming from, I would suggest you remove the ice maker cover and watch the ice cycle. Then if you could reply these details like how long it fills, where the leak is coming from, etc, I can then provide a more detailed answer. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
