According to your description, the motor and the control for the ice dispenser are probably okay. I recommend that you remove that ice bucket and check the ice chute through the door for a build-up of ice or an obstruction. Defrost or clear that chute if necessary. If you find not problems in that chute, I recommend that you shut off the ice maker and store the ice that was in that bucket. Run some hot water through that dispenser to defrost any ice chip build-up and then let that ice bucket air dry. Once it is dry, replace it in the freezer and fill it back up with the stored ice. See if it works properly. If not, then you may need to disassemble the ice bucket as shown in the image below and check for damaged parts. You can view a parts list diagram and order parts on the Sears PartsDirect website. Use the full model number (106.50793000) to access the parts diagram for your refrigerator. Replace any broken or damaged parts and reassemble the ice bucket.

If you find no problems in the ice bucket, you could have a problem with the auger motor or other components. Reply with additional details if you need more assistance.

Be sure that you unplug the refrigerator before accessing internal components.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
